At CherrishTheStory, every service is custom, creative, and time-based. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may or may not be available. By booking or purchasing any service from us, you agree to the terms below.

1) General Policy
Because our services involve planning, strategy, and creative work that begins soon after booking, all sales are considered final unless stated otherwise in writing.
Refunds are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis according to this policy.
2) Services That Are Non-Refundable
The following are non-refundable:
Social media management services
Content creation, editing, and strategy work
One-time projects, packages, and retainers
Time-based services (consultations, planning, audits)
Any work that has already started or been delivered
Digital products or downloadable resources (if applicable)
Once work has begun, or time has been reserved for you, refunds will not be issued.
3) Cancellations Before Work Begins
If you cancel before work has started, we may, at our discretion:
Issue a partial refund, minus administrative, processing, or booking fees
Offer a credit toward future services instead of a refund
Refund eligibility depends on how much preparation or scheduling has already occurred.
4) Monthly Services & Retainers (If Applicable)
For recurring services:
Payments cover time, availability, and resources reserved for your project
Monthly fees are non-refundable once the service period has started
Cancellation terms (notice periods) will be specified in your invoice, proposal, or service agreement
Unused time or deliverables do not roll over unless explicitly agreed in writing.
5) Client Delays or Non-Responsiveness
If a project is delayed due to:
- missing materials
- lack of approvals
- non-responsiveness for an extended period
No refunds will be issued. We may close or pause the project, and a restart fee may apply if work resumes later.
6) Dissatisfaction With Work
Creative work is subjective. Refunds will not be issued based on:
- personal preference
- change of mind
- difference in creative taste
- expected results not being achieved (growth, engagement, sales, virality)
We encourage clear communication and feedback and will work within the agreed scope and revision limits to address concerns.
7) Exceptions
Refunds may be considered only if:
we are unable to deliver the agreed service due to our own fault
there is a clear, documented failure to provide the agreed deliverables
If approved, refunds will be limited to the portion of the service not yet delivered.
8) How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are issued using the original payment method when possible
Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider
Transaction or processing fees are non-refundable
9) Chargebacks & Disputes
We encourage you to contact us first before filing a chargeback.
Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes may result in:
- immediate service termination
- revocation of access to delivered materials
- permanent refusal of future services
10) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
